Starting in 1994, and continuing to the present, Edward S. Goodman (Ted), has worked to recover compensation on behalf of personal injury and medical malpractice victims throughout New York and New Jersey. He has represented clients from as far south as Camden, New Jersey, and as far north as Buffalo, New York, and has achieved numerous million-dollar verdicts on behalf of his clients. Ted had the third-highest medical malpractice verdict in the entire State of New York in 2010. In addition, he has written and argued numerous appeals before the Appellate Division of the State of New York.
Ted’s contributions to the legal profession have also been recognized by U.S. News & World Report. Starting in 2013, he has been named to The Best Lawyers in America© "Best Lawyers® – New York" list in personal injury. Ted has also been selected for inclusion in the Super Lawyers® list every year from 2011 to the present.
Outside of the courtroom, Ted is a current member of the New York State Bar Association Law Practice Management Committee, as well as a past member of the Tort Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Ted has also provided pro bono representation on behalf of victims applying to the September 11th Compensation Fund. He has been on the Board of Directors of his village’s homeowner’s association for over a decade and also serves his community as the village judge.
