Paul Simonson, a founding partner of Simonson Goodman Platzer PC, has been selected as a 2017 New York Metro Super Lawyer in Medical Malpractice, and partner Edward S. Goodman has been named a Super Lawyer as a Personal Injury Attorney.
Both partners are honored to have been chosen as Super Lawyers. The designation is awarded each year to no more than 5% of the attorneys in New York State and is reserved specifically for attorneys who exhibit distinctive excellence in their practice areas.
Super Lawyers identifies these high-achieving attorneys using a patented, multi-step selection process that includes peer nomination, independent research, and peer evaluations. Each candidate is actually rated on twelve indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement by practice area.
This latest honor is a well-deserved addition to Simonson and Goodman’s numerous awards. Simonson has previously been named “Best Lawyer in America – New York” in medical malpractice, and Goodman has been named a “Best Lawyer in America – New York” in personal injury. Both have also been recognized as Super Lawyers in previous years.
Simonson and Goodman are gratified by the recognition of their peers. However, they feel their most important honor is working on behalf of their clients. Both attorneys are deeply committed to seeking and getting justice for people who have suffered because of someone else’s negligence or mistakes.
